Ohio MIG and TIG Welding
AWS-certified welders with experience working with stainless, aluminum, and carbon steel.

At Midwest Metal Fabrications, welding isn't just about joining metal – it's about creating lasting connections that stand up to the toughest demands. Our AWS-certified welders bring decades of experience to every project, ensuring excellence in every bead they lay.
Our Welding Expertise
We specialize in both MIG and TIG welding across multiple materials:
- Carbon Steel
- Stainless Steel
- Aluminum
For reference, MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding are both arc welding processes that use an electric current to fuse metal pieces. The key differences lie in the electrode type, shielding gas, and power source. MIG welding uses a consumable wire electrode and is faster, making it ideal for thicker materials.
TIG welding, on the other hand, uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode for precision work, often preferred for thinner metals and intricate welds. We use TiG welding for stainless, aluminum and exotic material welding.
Whether you need a prototype, small production run, or high-volume manufacturing, our skilled team delivers consistent, high-quality results every time.

Your Success Is Our Priority
Whether you need a single prototype or full production run, our team brings the expertise, certification, and attention to detail your project demands. Let's discuss how our welding capabilities can help bring your designs to life.
Yes! Members of our welding team have completed the requisite training to achieve certification through the American Welding Society. In addition, our welding team has decades of combined experience working at Midwest Metal Fabrications and has completed thousands of jobs with intricate components and custom designs.
Although we’ve completed welding projects on unique or specialty metals, our welding services are primarily focused on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and hastelloy projects. Our welders have the delicate touch required to complete welds on consumer products and provide the rugged durability required for things like machine build components, trucking industry parts, NEMA enclosures, and a wide array of custom projects.
Our AWS-certified welding team offers both MIG (metal inert gas) and TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding services depending on the project specifications or end application. While each has its benefits, MIG tends to be the more applicable welding technique while TIG is best suited for thinner materials and components made from aluminum or stainless steel.
This answer greatly depends on several factors including the design complexity, base material, need for additional fabricating, and project volume. You can contact our team at any time with more information to receive a detailed timeline and quote regarding your specific welding needs.
